About
Trilby Station is a fifth-generation sheep station owned by the Murray family, who have grazed merino sheep on the banks of the Darling River since 1860. The station offers a unique outback experience and a glimpse into their way of life, with accommodation including renovated Stockman's Cottages, Mitch's Hut, and the Shearer's Bunkhouse. Guests can also stay at powered caravan sites or secluded river campsites.
Activities include self-guided Mud Map drives around the station, catching yabbies and fish, and observing birdlife. Liz provides wholesome country-style meals for guests. The station is a member of Outback Beds, and private tours for individuals and small groups are available through Outback Beds Tours, with the option to travel by private aircraft via Outback by Air. The 'off-season' is during the hot summer months, and bookings are essential due to the station's operational schedule.
