About
Towrang Farmstay offers a peaceful country getaway in a restored and renovated 19th-century farm cottage. The homestead is an original shearer's cottage rebuilt into a luxurious country house after being destroyed by fire. It is located on the 25-acre property 'Kiama', just 20 minutes from Goulburn and Marulan.
The farm is home to rescued animals, including farm animals and retired racehorses, which are friendly to visitors. Guests, especially children, can interact with the animals, feed them and participate in daily farm chores like collecting eggs. The property has an orchard with fresh fruit for picking in season and a dam stocked with trout for fishing. Native fauna such as kangaroos and wombats are often seen on the property.
The self-contained accommodation can host up to 8 guests and includes a large country kitchen with a fully stocked pantry. Outdoor dining is available with a gas barbecue and table settings on a wrap-around verandah. There is a minimum stay requirement of 2 nights. The farmstay is popular with visitors to Goulburn and Wakefield Park Raceway.
