The Red Stag Deer and Emu Farm was originally established as a tourist farm and coffee shop in April 1992. It has since expanded to include a restaurant, function centre, gift shop, and farm stay accommodation on its 70-acre property with alpine views of Mount Buffalo National Park.

Visitors can feed, touch, and learn about deer, emus, and ostriches, with free entry to the animal petting area. The restaurant is open daily and features venison, kangaroo, and emu meat on its a la carte menu, alongside its own label wines. The gift shop sells halal-certified game meats, Emu Oil, and Emu Sports Rub. The farm also offers mini golf and hosts weddings, private functions, and corporate events.

The business is open seven days a week from 10 am to 4 pm and is powered by a 60-kilowatt solar system. Accommodation is available with pricing based on the length of stay.
