Tarkine Wilderness Lodge

Tarkine Wilderness Lodge offers exclusive use of its facilities on a 110-acre property on the edge of the Tarkine, the world's second largest temperate rainforest. The accommodation includes three luxurious suites with ensuites and rainforest vistas, as well as on-site caravans and a campground. The lodge is a community initiative owned by NJL (National Joblink), a not-for-profit training organisation and registered charity, which opened the property to school groups and community organisations after purchasing it in 2021.

Self-catered bookings are managed through Airbnb. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi via satellite internet and can take strolls along rainforest walks to discover the surrounding scenery and wildlife. One of the lodge's missions is to expose the Tasmanian community to the local temperate rainforest.
