About
Tanjenong Glamping up in Curraweela is a top spot if you're chasing a relaxing break. Owners Deb and Rob, who moved here from Canada back in 2006, run this farm stay on the property where Deb grew up. You've got a choice of staying in one of their spruced-up self-contained cottages, or a cosy dome that Isabella reckoned had "incredible views and awesome dome". This place is all about kicking back with stunning views and fresh country air. Guests often chat about the animals you'll meet on your walks, like donkeys, sheep, and cheeky alpacas. Louise, Jim, William and Mathew from Turramurra loved spotting the "little spring lambs with their black faces" and flocks of galahs. The cottages, like Blueslate Cottage, get a nod for being comfy and warm, especially with the "worm fire" going. There's heaps to do nearby too, like checking out Wombeyan Caves, Mayfield Garden, or grabbing a bite at The Argyle Inn. It's a real escape where you feel right in among nature, as one reviewer put it, "at the top of the world".
