About
Spear Creek Holiday Park is a family-owned working sheep station offering accommodation adjacent to the western slopes of the Flinders Ranges. The 21,000-acre property is located 25 kilometres south-east of Port Augusta, a three-hour drive north of Adelaide, and is considered a gateway to the Flinders Ranges. The park is set among 600-year-old river red gums, where visitors may encounter three species of kangaroos, echidnas, and 85 species of birds.
The owner-operators are fourth-generation farmers and graziers whose families have worked this land for over 130 years. Accommodation includes powered, unpowered, and bush camping sites, as well as one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and Shearer's Quarters cabins. Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, two shower and toilet blocks, and a coin laundry. Dorper lamb is also available, and bookings can be made online.
