About
Softfoot Alpaca and Wildlife Park is a family farm established in the late 1990s, originally dedicated to a large forestry project. The property is home to a breeding herd of World Class Alpacas. In the early 2000s, four feral-proof sanctuaries were built, serving as a genetic ark for endangered Australian marsupials.
The Wildlife Park is open Thursday to Sunday, with an entry fee for adults and free entry for kids. Alpaca Safari Tours depart daily at noon and 2pm, with bookings essential. The Swagman Country Dining restaurant offers a full 脿 la carte lunch service and coffee and cake from Thursday to Sunday. Onsite, a boutique offers one-of-a-kind gifts including locally made alpaca fleece garments, toys, and quilts, alongside a unique museum exhibit of handmade Australian Studio pottery. Accommodation is available seven days a week.
