About
At Seven Hills Tallarook, out in rural Victoria at 160 Scotts Rd, they've got a fair bit going on across their 600 acres. If you're after a taste of farm life, you can book in for a farm stay, whether it's a room in the farmhouse or one of their tiny houses. It's a cracking spot for NDIS respite accommodation too, giving folks a chance to experience the farm and build up some social skills in a proper off-grid setting. They're not just about accommodation though. The team, affectionately known as the 'Tallarook Wood Boys', are serious about their Boer goats. They breed them right there on the farm and sell the breeding stock directly to other farmers. And come winter, they're your go-to for firewood, supplying locally sourced mixed hardwoods like messmate and apple box, with pick-up or delivery in the Mitchell Shire and surrounds. Beyond all that, they also lend a hand with agricultural services like fencing, spraying, and grass slashing. There's even a bit of history with them supplying goat meat and smallgoods to restaurants. It's a real working farm that offers a heap to the community, from a peaceful break in the country to nitty-gritty farm services and top-notch local produce.
