Mount Ophir Estate

Mount Ophir Estate is a 50-hectare property in the Rutherglen region. It was formerly one of the largest wineries in the area and now produces a limited release, premium vintage Shiraz, described as a low-yielding, handmade, ultra-premium, modern expression of Rutherglen Shiraz.

The estate offers six houses for accommodation, including The Tower, The Residence, The Lodge, The Gatehouse, Winemakers Cottage, Pickers Cottage, and Castleview Cottage. The Residence is a spacious grand old home with modern features, while the Winemakers Cottage offers a cosy loft experience with insights into the area's viticultural history. The Lodge has been modernised where necessary while preserving its original character.

The sprawling heritage winemaking building at the heart of the estate houses six main halls, accommodating 60 to 450 people for events. It serves as a bespoke venue for weddings and private functions, and the property provides inspirational landscapes and original interiors for location shoots. The estate is part of a group of sister properties including All Saints Estate, Bonnie, KIN, St Leonards Vineyard, and Thousand Pound.
