About
Levenvale Farm was one of the original dairy farms of Bellingen, spanning the banks of Hydes Creek. At its peak, it had 200 milking cows producing up to 1 million litres of milk annually. In 2019, Sam and Georgina Baker became stewards of the 500-acre property, converting it from a dairy farm to an organic beef cattle operation. They have dedicated their time to revitalising the soil for small-scale, nutrient-dense food production.
The farm offers a range of educational tours and experiences, including family-friendly overview tours, regenerative cattle grazing walks, market gardening sessions, pasture-raised chicken farming demonstrations, and closed-loop composting workshops. Their mission is to farm in a more sustainable way and leave the land in better condition. Visitors can also enjoy a 'Farm Feast' experience using home-grown, organic produce and stay in on-farm accommodation to reconnect with nature.
