Kookaburra Farmstay

Kookaburra Farmstay is a small, family-owned and operated farmstay located at Bobs Farm on the Tomaree Peninsula in Port Stephens. The farm is close to beaches and many tourist attractions, between 5 and 15 minutes away, and is 30 minutes from Newcastle and 15 minutes from Nelson Bay.

A daily farm tour is run in the afternoon for guests, starting at 4:00 pm in summer and 3:30 pm in winter, lasting 1 to 1.5 hours. All guests assemble at the milking shed next to the farmhouse, where they can cuddle chickens. The tour includes cow milking, feeding the calf and cows, and a tractor ride to feed the rest of the animals. Accommodation is offered in cottages, cabins, and a farmhouse.
