About
Hidden Valley is a secluded private property located centrally on the Sunshine Coast, close to Yandina. Situated within the Maroochy River valley, the property operates as a working macadamia orchard. It covers approximately 30 acres, with 17.5 acres dedicated to macadamia trees and a dam, alongside 12.5 acres of natural rainforest corridors. The property also adjoins the Parklands Conservation Park.
The farm actively promotes positive environmental practices and makes every effort to farm organically. They strive to live as self-sufficiently as their resources allow, planting various fruit, vegetables, and herbs to create a sustainable life. The property is frequented by wildlife, including kangaroos and wallabies grazing in the orchard, and regular visits from lace monitors, water dragons, and other native animals and birds. A pair of emus from Parklands Conservation Park frequently visit, and as many as 160 bird species frequent the property.
Hidden Valley offers various camping options. Products available include macadamias, fruit, vegetables, and herbs, with organic certifications.
