About
Happy Hooves Farm Sanctuary, out in the Perth hills, is a truly special spot. It's a non-profit place that gives rescued farm animals a safe home, and they rely completely on public support to keep things going. You can book a tour of their beautiful property and meet some of the residents, like Timmy the lamb, who's a bit of a celebrity since his story went viral on Facebook. There are also goats like Cleveland, Bonnie and Clyde, a pig named Eli, and Hank the sheep, just to name a few. They've been helping animals since 2008, taking in those in urgent need or facing slaughter. It’s pretty clear they’re passionate about what they do here. They even have some precious ponies, Holly and Pru, who needed a bit of extra help with vet bills. If you’re ever in Western Australia and want to see firsthand the good work being done for farm animals, a visit to Happy Hooves is definitely worth it. It’s a chance to connect with these animals and learn about their stories, and you’ll know your visit is helping a great cause.
