Halfmoon Hideaway

Halfmoon Hideaway offers a modern cottage escape up in the Maleny hills. You'll find it on Mountain View Road, just three minutes drive from the heart of town. The owners built the cottage over seventeen years ago, originally for visiting family, but soon opened it up for others to enjoy. It's proven pretty popular, staying booked out most of the time since. The cottage is set away from the main homestead, so you get plenty of privacy and quiet. They love having families and pets, making it a great spot for a relaxed getaway. You get some cracking views of the Glass House Mountains from here. On a clear day, particularly in winter, you can often see all the way to Brisbane's skyscrapers, and even Mount Tambourine some 150 kilometres away. This year, they've even spotted Mount Barney down near the NSW border, which shows you just how clear those views can get.
