Gidgee's Bush Camp & Farm Stay

Gidgee's Bush Camp & Farm Stay is a landscaped campground set in 60 acres of open downs country near Morven, 100 km east of Charleville. Owned and operated by 4th generation Morven farmers, the property also operates as a small sheep, cattle, and goat farm. The hub of the campground is WILMAVALE hut, a replica of a house built in 1860, which includes a BYO bar, entertainment lawn, fire pits, and an events pavilion.

Facilities include 12 powered sites (expandable to 20 for groups) and room for 50 unpowered sites, a camp kitchen with power, BBQ, wood stove, and microwave, and toilets and showers where hot water requires $1 coins. Hot tubs are available to book for an additional cost. The camp focuses on attracting bird life and has identified 90 species, and features quirky landscaping and artwork throughout. Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be restrained, and visitors can interact with farm animals.
