About
Eldee Station is a multi-award winning, eco-friendly outback escape and oasis. It is the only working sheep and cattle station and farm stay welcoming tourists in the Mundi Mundi Plains/Barrier Ranges region in Outback NSW. This historic property features some of the most spectacular landscapes in Australia and has been featured in commercials and movies worldwide.
Hosted by 4th generation farmers and environmental advocates Naomi and Stephen Schmidt, it offers open plan, eco-friendly, accessible rooms and powered or unpowered caravan and camp sites with eco-friendly facilities. The station delivers an authentic Australian outback experience, catering to 4WD enthusiasts, educators, astronomers, photographers and families. While a 4WD is not required to reach the property, one is needed to explore all its breathtaking sites. Experiences include self-drive 4WD tracks, tours, geology exploration, native flora and fauna viewing, photography, a plunge pool and spa, and stargazing.
