About
Diamond Forest Farm Stay is a cracker spot for families and anyone keen for a bit of a break in WA's Southern Forests. They've got four self-contained cottages, and a couple of those are even pet-friendly, so your furry mates can come along too. Every day kicks off with animal feeding at 8 am in summer or 8:30 am in winter, where you can get up close with horses, alpacas, donkeys, goats, emus, pigs, and rabbits. It's a proper hands-on farm experience that the kids, and grown-ups, will absolutely love. If you're into fishing, there's a private lake where you can try your luck catching marron and trout. You can release them, or keep them for a small fee, though marron fishing is seasonal so worth checking ahead. The cottages themselves are comfy as, with fully equipped kitchens, barbecues on the verandah, and all the linen sorted. Plus, there's a games room and a playground for the little tackers, and in winter, they even light up a fire pit by the water for a cosy evening under some amazing starry skies. It's a ripper place to relax and unwind.
