About
Cullendore High Country is a secluded mountain retreat located high in the Great Dividing Range, offering a genuine bush camping getaway. The property is a working cattle station with campsites scattered throughout the forest, each offering unique characteristics like mountain views, creeks, or quiet brushbox forests.
The retreat is suitable for nature-lovers interested in activities such as bushwalking, birdwatching, photography, and pushbiking. The area is home to vulnerable native animals including Bettongs, Quolls, Brush-tailed Phascogales, Squirrel Gliders, Greater Gliders, Powerful Owls, and Koalas, so pets are not allowed. The campground accommodates caravans, camper trailers, tents, and motorhomes, including both 2WD and 4WD vehicles.
Camping prices are $20 per night for adults, $10 per night for children (4-16 years old), and $60 per night for a family, with children under four free. The location is approximately two and a half hours from Brisbane and about half an hour's drive from Warwick, Killarney, and Stanthorpe.
