About
Crooked Corner Cottage offers a cracker country escape out Bigga way, perfect for a good old farm stay. This spot's set on 100 acres, so you've got heaps of room to roam, like guests have mentioned. You'll find a cookhouse and living space, then four shearers' quarters and even a caravan, sleeping up to 14 people altogether. There's also a big wash house with another bathroom handy. You can spend your days mucking about on the tennis court, taking a dip in the dam or even casting a line in for some fishing. When the weather's right and there are no fire bans, a crackling fire pit's just the ticket for a yarn under the stars. Guests rave about the peace and quiet, and you'll definitely see the Milky Way stretched across the sky here. It's a proper getaway, just 10 minutes from Binda, 25 from Crookwell, and 35 from Bigga. Plus, you're only about 45 minutes from Lake Wyangala, which is huge, great for boating, swimming, and skiing. Peter, your host, has been doing this for yonks, over 11 years, and you can check yourself in with a key safe, so it's all pretty cruisy.
