About
Cressy House Estate offers luxury farm stay accommodation in Tasmania. The estate provides two distinct options: Chatsworth and Cressy House.
Chatsworth is a private three-bedroom homestead built in 1836, located 3 km from Cressy House and 20 minutes from Launceston. It features large private gardens with established fruit trees and 80-year-old pear trees. Guests can pick their own vegetables and herbs and collect eggs from the chook house. A minimum two-night stay applies.
Cressy House is a fully private, renovated self-contained apartment within the original homestead built in 1827. It is situated 3km from Chatsworth, 15 minutes from Launceston Airport, and 20 minutes from Launceston. The apartment offers views of paddocks, animals, and The Great Western Tiers. Guests can fish for trout in the farm's river or play tennis on the estate's court. Stays include a continental breakfast with fresh local produce, free-range eggs, and raw natural honey produced on the farm. One-night stays are offered, with a minimum two-night stay during holidays. The estate has been featured in Country Style Magazine, Country Road, and Tourism Tasmania campaigns.
