Coolac Cabins & Camping is a 90-acre property that began as a modest family farm when the old dairy farm was purchased in 1999. The land, last used as a productive dairy farm over thirty years ago, is now run with Angus beef cattle. Over 6000 native trees have been planted, attracting abundant bird life.

The farmstay and camping ground evolved from the first two cabins built in 2005, with a third added in 2011. Caravan and camping facilities officially opened in October 2018, offering a camp kitchen, amenities block, 14 powered sites and unpowered sites. Subsequent improvements include a swimming pool, fairy garden, glamping tent, a fourth cabin, and a heated in-ground mineral pool added in 2025. The business is a family-run operation, with the youngest daughter returning to help manage it.
