About
Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin & Camp offers three tent camping sites beside Christmas Creek and one cedar cabin on a 160-acre property in Lamington. The tent sites are for fully self-contained campers who must bring their own toilet, shower facilities and firewood, and take all waste with them; fire pits are provided. Access involves a gravel road, a creek crossing via a concrete causeway, and a low concrete gully crossing, with a 4WD vehicle recommended, especially for the gravel track to the camping ground. Campers are advised to drive slowly due to cattle on the property, and platypus might be seen in the waterhole.
The Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a tiny home positioned on a hill with views of Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. It features a loft bedroom with a queen bed and provided linen, reverse cycle air conditioning, a self-contained kitchen, and a lounge room with a smart TV. The cabin is 2WD accessible, though 4WD is recommended in wet weather, and mobile phone reception is available for Telstra and sometimes Optus users. The host, Kerry, is a Star Host.
