Cheyenne Wilderness Retreat Farmstay

Cheyenne Wilderness Retreat Farmstay is a true farmstay experience that is hands-on and interactive. The 1800-acre working cattle farm is perched on the edge of the Macleay Gorge in the New England Tablelands, near Walcha, and is just over an hour's drive from Armidale.

Guests can relax in comfortable accommodation or settle in the gazebo right on the edge of the gorge. Daily chores include feeding the chickens and pig, milking the cow, and collecting eggs. As a family property with three children living on-site, there is a sand pit, swings, bikes, trampoline and other toys. For adults, there is a private deck overlooking the gorge for relaxation.
