About
Capertee Valley Farmstays offers a private farm stay guesthouse on Glenbrook Farm, located on the western edge of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The Capertee Valley is the largest enclosed valley in the southern hemisphere and the widest canyon in the world, approximately two hours drive from Sydney. It is listed as one of the world's Top 50 bird watching spots with over 242 species recorded and is the most important breeding site for the endangered regent honeyeater.
The guesthouse accommodates up to eight guests and features wooden floorboards, a spacious living and dining area, three bedrooms, a fully-equipped self-catering kitchen, a deck with views, and a private enclosed yard. A minimum two-night stay is required. The farm is pet-friendly and provides secure kennels for dogs. Guests can observe kangaroos and wallabies daily, and potentially wombats at night, and meet the farm's sheep, chickens, heritage ducks, an alpaca, and turkeys. Three nearby National Parks offer hiking trails. The hosts have achieved Superhost status with AirBnB and are commended for the location, cleanliness, and warmth of their welcome.
