During fire season, fires are prohibited if the Fire Danger Rating is High or above or if a Total Fire Ban is imposed by DFES. In restricted periods (October, February and March), fires may be allowed pending the Fire Rating forecast and confirmation from hosts. Fires are also prohibited by Local Government on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
