About
Bullo River Station is a 400,000-acre working cattle station and homestead located 800 kilometres from Darwin on Miriwoong and Gajirrawoong Country. The station is home to around 2,000 Brahman-cross cattle and is a member of Luxury Lodges of Australia. It offers 12 guest rooms and a range of activities including swimming at Marlee's Bath, stargazing, bird watching for around 200 species, catch-and-release fishing, viewing Aboriginal rock art by the Miriuwung-Gajerrong ancestors, and helicopter flights over the landscape. Guests can also participate in guided station activities.
The station is closed for the 2026 tourism season for redevelopment of its guest wing and homestead, though cattle operations and conservation work will continue. Access is primarily by charter plane or helicopter, or by 4WD from the Victoria Highway.
