Buddai Camp

Buddai Camp is located in Christmas Creek, Queensland, offering two sites across 400 acres. It was a 2025 Newcomer Award winner and named one of the best Hipcamps to visit in 2025, with 99% of 232 reviews being positive. The camp is suitable for larger groups, families and kids.

There are three distinct camp areas: Gumtree, Creekbend, and Old Stump. Gumtree is more suitable for tents, swags, rooftops and small vans due to uneven ground. Creekbend is flat and suitable for bigger vehicles, accommodating about three caravans or RVs. Old Stump is slightly sloped and uneven but has some flat areas, offering more privacy and is suitable for large groups.

The camp features a shallow to mid-depth running creek with plenty of shade, though access can be steep or slippery depending on weather. It is easily accessible by 2WD as long as it is not too wet. Campers must be fully self-sufficient with no toilets, electricity or water provided. Campfires are permitted subject to local bans, and firewood can be brought or purchased from neighbours.
