About
Binghi Station is a 4,000-acre property of natural granite rock country and untouched tea tree bushlands. It was once a large sheep station and a thriving tin and gem mine from the late 1800s to mid-1900s. The station is designed for 4WD enthusiasts seeking off-grid adventure, where visitors can explore endlessly, discover secret hideouts, swim under a flowing waterfall, and stargaze. The property was affected by bush fires in 2019, with subsequent rainfall leading to vibrant green country not seen since the 1980s.
This hosted stay through Hipcamp actively welcomes people with access needs and caters for wheelchair users. It is located approximately 4.5 hours from Brisbane and a 1.5-hour drive west of Tenterfield.
