Berry Springs Farmstay

Berry Springs Farmstay is a small hobby farm located near Darwin, about 40 minutes from the city. It offers a private, fully furnished room in a shared rural home for quiet, tidy individuals who enjoy country living. The farm focuses on animal care, gardening, and rural projects that support sustainability and nature education, welcoming long-term caretakers and travellers who assist with daily tasks in exchange for accommodation. Animals on the property include rabbits, miniature pigs, miniature goats, and geese.

Helpers can grow their own produce and share access to a rustic campfire area. The property has a 12-metre saltwater pool for relaxation, and essential facilities like an IGA, pharmacy, and local pub are within walking distance. The farm encourages sustainable living practices, such as using animal manure as fertiliser, and offers opportunities for backpackers to complete 88 days of regional work, as well as social media and video marketing volunteering roles. Visitors to the area can also enjoy swimming in the clear pools of Berry Springs Nature Park during the dry season.
