About
Bellevue Farmstay is a 350-acre working family farm operated by the fifth-generation Couch family. Recognised as Australia's #1 Family Farmstay, it offers a private, solar-powered farmhouse that sleeps up to 10 guests, with dual heating and cooling, a wood-burning fireplace, and rainwater collection.
Guests can participate in animal feeding sessions, including bottle-feeding lambs or calves, and interact with a variety of animals such as miniature goats, an orphan camel, alpacas, sheep, and a beef steer. Activities include riding a tractor or 'mule' and observing native wildlife like koalas, echidnas, and kangaroos on walking trails. A three-night stay is recommended to enjoy the animal experiences and explore the nearby Great Ocean Road, Twelve Apostles, and a local rotary dairy.
The farmstay is located approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Melbourne, providing a base for exploring the region.
