About
Argadells is a working sheep property up in the Flinders Ranges, about 28 kilometres north of Quorn on the Arden Vale Road. It's a cracking spot for a bit of a getaway, with 32 square kilometres of spectacular scenery to explore. You'll find it tucked between Warren Gorge and Buckaringa Gorge, a really peaceful corner of South Australia. You can tell they've put a lot of thought into making it a relaxing spot, with plenty of room for bush camping, bushwalking, and even four-wheel driving. If you're into wildlife, you're in luck, with kangaroos, yellow-footed rock wallabies, lizards, emus, and wedge-tailed eagles often seen around the place. They've got some stunning natural springs too, plus Mount Arden with its rugged mountain ranges and river red gum-lined gorges. It's the kind of place where you can really slow down and take in the natural rhythms of the bush. They're currently closed, but they'll be opening up again on the 1st of March. Just keep in mind that Mount Arden won't be accessible during March itself due to some tower works, but you can still book your stay for later in the year through their website.
