About
The Toowoomba Farmers Market operates every Saturday between the Cobb & Co Museum and Queens Park, under the windmills. It aims to connect producers directly with the community, providing an opportunity for locals and visitors to purchase seasonal produce, local meats, hand-made bread and pastries, pasta, jams, honey, eggs, locally grown herbs, salad items, pet food, seafood, wines and spirits. Visitors can also buy meat directly from the grower and find gluten-free pies and pastries.
The market features a large and changing array of curated local artisan stalls selling items such as handmade soaps, beauty products, leather goods, steel work, wooden items, and jewellery. A visit is considered a pleasant outing for the entire family, where one can enjoy coffee, homemade goodies, and local and international cooked foods, all while meeting local farmers. The market includes live entertainment every weekend and runs from 7 am to 12 pm.
