About
The Talbot Farmers' Market is held on the third Sunday of every month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Established in 2004, it was one of the earliest farmers' markets in regional Victoria and remains proudly community-based, drawing thousands of visitors each month. It supports local and regional farmers, growers and artisan food producers, showcasing the region's unique local produce.
The market operates in the historic precinct of Scandinavian Crescent and Camp Street. It has developed criteria for stallholders that discourages wasteful plastic and encourages nil or minimal chemical use, and stallholders are encouraged to supply biodegradable or recyclable packaging. Dogs are permitted if kept in control and on a short leash. Ample parking is available in the surrounding streets, and cash out can be accessed at the Talbot Post Office on market days.
