About
The New Brighton Farmers Market is a not-for-profit community market established in 2007. It operates every Tuesday from 7 am to 11 am at Tom Kendall Oval, River Street, New Brighton, set in a riverside location near the beaches. The market is home to more than 30 farmers and food producers, offering a range of fresh produce.
Weekly features include live music, workshops, and cooking demonstrations. The market provides creative hands-on activities for children at the Kiddies Plot and runs a 'Grow Your Own Lunchbox Challenge' for students. Visitors can relax at shady tables with local coffee or breakfast made from seasonal produce. Every dollar spent supports local farmers and the community.
