About
If you're ever in the Tweed Valley on a Wednesday morning, pull up a seat at the Murwillumbah Showground and soak up the atmosphere of the Murwillumbah Farmers' Market. It's a proper local affair, running from 7 am 'til 11 am, and you'll find heaps of fresh, seasonal produce straight from the growers. Locals reckon it's an absolute gem, and it's easy to see why. You can grab a steaming cup of coffee from Three Sons Coffee van, apparently it's good enough to make the drive worthwhile for some regulars. There's usually some live music playing too, which adds to the nice, country feel. You'll spot stalls selling things like avocados and apples, and you can even get sugarcane juice. One person even mentioned some good Asian food on offer. It's the kind of place where you might spend a bit more than you planned because there are just so many tempting things on offer. They've even got a wash station, which is pretty handy. The market's won a few awards too, so you know they're doing something right. It's a great spot to support local family businesses and really get a taste of what the region has to offer.
