Mullumbimby Farmers Market

The Mullumbimby Farmers Market is an award-winning, not-for-profit market held every Friday morning at the Mullum Showgrounds. Since opening in 2010, it has become a community gathering spot under fig trees in the foothills of Mt Chincogan. It offers fresh organic produce directly from local farmers, aiming to create closer links between producers and consumers.

Each week features live local music, creative hands-on activities for children at the Kiddies Plot, and regular workshops, cooking demonstrations and events. The market also hosts a quarterly Byron Hinterland Seed Swap and a 'Grow Your Own Lunchbox Challenge' for schools. It provides resources including recipes and 'how to grow' videos.
