Daylesford Sunday Market

The Daylesford Sunday Market is a long-running community market held every Sunday at the Daylesford Railway Station. Run by the Daylesford Railway as a not-for-profit organisation, it has operated for over 45 years and supports the local town and surrounds. The market features between 70 and 130 stalls each week and is open from 8 am, winding down from 1 pm and closing by 3 pm, though hours can be adjusted in extreme weather.

Entry is via a gold coin donation, which is appreciated but not mandatory. The market is dog friendly, requiring dogs to be on a leash, and offers free parking. Accessibility is provided with an accessible toilet on the station platform and two designated accessible parking zones, with the Raglan Street zone recommended for wheelchair users. The market operates every Sunday of the year, with closures only on Christmas Day or during 'Catastrophic' fire danger days in the central district.
