About
The Capital Region Farmers Market operates every Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:30 am at Exhibition Park in Canberra. It is a community project run by the Rotary Club of Hall, the only rural Rotary Club in the ACT. Each week, over 100 stallholders offer freshly picked, grown and hand-crafted produce, providing a direct link between food producers and customers.
Produce categories include baked goods, dairy, eggs and honey, flowers and plants, fruit and nuts, gourmet foods, meat and seafood, ready-made meals, and vegetables, with certified organic options available. All profits raised are distributed back into the local and Australian community, enabling the Rotary Club to support important regional projects. The market also publishes news, 'Farmer in Focus' articles, and a blog with recipes for cooking and produce usage ideas.
