About
The Bream Creek Farmers Market is held on the first Sunday of each month at the Bream Creek Show Grounds. It started in December 2012 and has run continuously since, with one cancellation in January 2013 due to bushfires. The market showcases producers from South Eastern Tasmania and beyond, with a focus on locally grown, fresh and seasonal produce sold directly by the people who grow and make it.
Run entirely by a volunteer committee that supports the local community and economy, the market offers a wide variety of goods including fresh fruit, vegetables, honey, baked goods, wines and plants. The location offers views of the green, rolling hills of Bream Creek, with a family-friendly atmosphere provided by live music and children's activities. Visitors can relax on the grass to enjoy coffee, local wine and lunch. The market welcomes expressions of interest from new stallholders.
