About
The Bellingen Growers Market is a small and intimate village market that has been running for 25 years, powered by volunteers. It operates every Saturday morning from 7:30 am to 11:30 am at the Bellingen Showgrounds, except for the third Saturday of the month.
The market offers a diverse range of fresh organic, local, and non-organic produce, including fruit, vegetables, gourmet mushrooms, herbs, breads, and meats. It also sells condiments, jams, honey, unique creations, upcycled items, seedlings, plants, books, hot coffee, and hot meals. Specific stallholders include BIEN APIARY with specialty honeys from Dorrigo, PATCH ORGANICS with certified organic chicken, and AUTARKY FARM with certified organic vegetables.
It provides an opportunity to buy quality, fresh in-season food and unique gifts, listen to live local music most weekends from 8 am to 10:30 am, and socialise. The market also holds an Artisans Market twice a year in June and December. Volunteers are crucial to its operation, and new volunteers are always sought.
