Ballarat Farmers Market

The Ballarat Farmers Market operates on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at Zoo Drive in the North Gardens Reserve, just north of the Botanical Gardens. It runs all year round, with a wide range of produce and products from local and seasonal producers, including both organic and non-organic fruit and vegetables. A coffee van, Bean me up Espresso, is always on site, and there is a free stall for local community groups.

In Winter 2026, the market will operate from the shelter of the Equestrian Centre at the new Ballarat Showgrounds. The annual Twilight Christmas Market will be held on Friday, December 18, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm at the usual Zoo Drive location, focusing on Christmas gifts, food, wine, cider and gin, with free kids activities and music.
