Alphington Farmers' Market is held every Sunday from 9am to 1pm on the grounds of the Melbourne Farmers Market HQ and community food hub at 2 Wingrove St, Alphington. This site has been transformed from old Council offices and a concrete scape into a productive community meeting place.

The market is a plastic bag free event and operates a wash up station to eliminate single-use items, encouraging visitors to bring their own bags and coffee cups. Entry is by a voluntary $2 card-only donation, which supports the not-for-profit social enterprise running the market. A full list of stallholders is published weekly via newsletter, Facebook, and Instagram.

The market is directly opposite Alphington Train Station, served by bus route 508, with free parking available at the station carpark. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are permitted. Melbourne Farmers Markets acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the Land.
