Young's Vegie Shed in Camdale, Tasmania, has been a local favourite since John and Miriam Young started it back in 1977. It's more than just a farm gate, it's a real hub for fresh, local produce. You'll find a wide variety of fruits and vegetables grown right on their own farm, like potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, swedes, iceberg lettuce, cabbages, raspberries, blueberries, brussels sprouts, and pumpkins. They also team up with heaps of other Tasmanian farmers and suppliers to bring in an even bigger selection. You can grab nuts, dairy, and eggs, along with a massive range of JC's Quality Foods, which means you'll find plenty of dried fruits, confectionery, and snack mixes too. They even stock meats and speciality dairy products, plus free-range and barn-laid eggs and a good range of general groceries. It's truly a one-stop shop if you're looking for fresh food straight from the source. They've also got another spot in Launceston, but the Camdale shed on the Bass Highway is the original.
