Yarragon Meat operates from Yeneda Park, a local family-run farm in Yarragon, West Gippsland. The business is co-owned by a local vet who oversees the lambs' welfare. They sell whole lambs directly to the public, with each 100% grass-fed lamb costing $300 plus GST and providing approximately 25kg of fresh meat.
Lambs are processed locally to minimise animal stress, and the meat is packaged into clearly marked packs by cut. The entire processed lamb will fit in a standard-sized freezer. Customers join a waitlist to be notified when lambs are ready for processing, and local delivery is included to Yarragon, Drouin and Warragul.
