Wolseley Wines is a real treat just off the Great Ocean Road, tucked away in Paraparap. It's a cracking spot to visit if you're looking for a genuine vineyard feel, and it's all about good wine made with care. They run the whole place off-grid with solar power, which is pretty neat. You can grab some really special wines here that they hold back until they're just right, like their Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a lovely Botrytis Semillon. These often aren't available anywhere else, so it's worth the trip to the cellar door.Speaking of the cellar door, it's open Wednesday to Sunday, from 11 am to 5 pm, or you can even rock up by appointment. It's a great chance to chat about the wines and pick up a few bottles. If you can't make it in person, they also ship Australia-wide from their online store, which is handy. They're pretty proud of their organic vineyard and it shows in the quality of the limited quantities of wine they produce. It’s got that small-batch charm you don't always find. So if you're in the Surf Coast area and keen on some top-notch, organically produced wine, Wolseley Wines is definitely worth a stop.
