Truffle Hunting at L'air du Wombat

Truffle Hunting at L'air du Wombat aims to educate visitors about truffles. During the experience, a guide provides information about truffles, the farm, and its origins. Participants follow experienced truffle dogs in the truffle orchard as they search for black truffles, which are located underground by the dogs' trained odour detection. Hunts take place every weekend during the winter months of June, July, and August.

Visitors have the opportunity to dig their own truffle and can purchase and take home the truffle they unearth. Guests can also pat the truffle dogs and take personal photos with them.

After the field adventure, participants return to a cozy enclosed pavilion. Here, they can enjoy a variety of savoury and sweet truffle-loaded snacks, with dietary requirements accommodated. The location also offers accommodation in conjunction with truffle hunting, and gift vouchers are available for the truffle hunt experience.
