The Persimmon Place is an orchard business specialising in the growing and sale of several persimmon varieties, including astringent, non-astringent and mutant types. The orchard is located in Galston, within the Hills District, approximately 45 minutes north-west of Sydney, and spans approximately 8 hectares divided into various blocks.

The farmgate store is open to the public every day from 9 am to 5 pm. The seasonal Pick Your Own activity is available by booking, typically only in May and June. Visitors pay for the fruit they pick at a slightly lower than retail price. The activity is noted as suitable for small children as the persimmon trees are not tall.
