About
The Odd Jug is located at Rosehill in Ruffy, within the Strathbogie Ranges, approximately 20km from the Hume Highway. Edward and Pamela Sprunt purchased 18 acres from the original 1880 'Rosehill' selection and created their home and garden there in 1973. Their interest in gardening and a growing collection of jugs inspired the establishment of the Tea Room and Jug House.
Devonshire Teas are served throughout the day in the country garden or tea rooms. Visitors can view a collection of over 1,000 jugs on display. The property also includes a plant nursery featuring Pelargoniums, Geraniums, Hostas and many cottage plants. It is open most weekends and by appointment, with group bookings available.
