About
The Little Big Dairy Co is a family-owned dairy business with over 100 years of farming heritage, started in 2012 to bring their sustainably produced milk to market. Located on the banks of the Macquarie River, the Chesworth family manages all aspects of the operation, from raising calves to production and logistics. Their herd of over 1000 purebred Holstein cattle is known by name, has year-round access to grass, and is fed with off-farm fodder sourced from local farmers.
They produce 8 million litres of milk annually, all traceable and produced, processed, and bottled on their single-source farm. The company practices sustainable farming and fair trade, with their coffee and chocolate milks being Fairtrade accredited. Their Pure Double Cream was judged the number one cream in Australia in the 2018 Grand Dairy Awards. Their award-winning products are available in cafes and retailers across New South Wales and the ACT, and they offer wholesale options.
