You'll find The Big Strawberry right in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, near Koonoomoo. It's a cracking spot for families, with heaps to keep everyone busy. Of course, you can pick your own strawberries when they're in season, which is usually around the March long weekend. But there's more to it than just that. Inside, it's all air-conditioned, a real relief on a hot day. They've got a cafe where you can grab a bite, and there's a playground and indoor play area for the little tackers to burn off some energy. For the grown-ups, there's even a "mancave" and a history room, so you can learn a bit about the area and the farm's past. Don't forget to check out their farm shop. They make their own jams, relishes, chutneys, and sauces, and they've also got a sugar-free range. You can pick up local wines and liqueurs too, and even some Big Strawberry merchandise. It's a proper farm-gate experience where you can see where things come from and grab some delicious local produce to take home.
